PERSONA • Thaddaeus Ropac 

Persona, an exhibition curated by Selcan Atılgan and held in collaboration with Thaddeaus Ropac Gallery, reveals an exhibition that delves into the multifaceted realm of contemporary sculpture through the lens of visionary artists: Erwin Wurm, Tony Cragg, Tom Sachs, and Sylvie Fleury. Each artist presents a unique perspective on the essence of art, challenging conventional notions, inviting viewers to reconsider the ordinary in absurd ways and to question one’s self. Each sculpture stands as a testament to the relationship between art and industry, bridging the familiar with the unfamiliar, the mundane with the extraordinary. Here, craftsmanship becomes the alchemy that transforms and, in some cases, alters reality. In the sinuous curves and graceful lines of human nature, we find a mirror reflecting the depths of our collective psyche, amidst the silent guardians of our hidden selves.
